The building is a cultural factory that is comprised of layered spatial typologies used by independent communities. This includes retail fairs, coworking office and live/work spaces. Due to the transient nature of work, the programmatic needs of the space often reevaluate the architecture, perpetuating its demands onto existing forms. Here we explore the idea of creating spaces that submit to the natural expansion and compression of the needs of modern space in time and in space. This free plan and modular interior spatial strategy also enforced by the larger concept of the future work space facilitating at a more human scale, where the user defines their work-life.
